Help us achieve our mission
Brecon Choir Festival was set up in 2022 to bring the best of Welsh and emerging choral talent to the most beautiful of settings. Our mission is to provide festival audiences with unique participation experiences, and to give young people and those underrepresented in choral music, opportunities which otherwise would not exist.

If you are an individual interested in supporting the continued success of the Brecon Choir Festival, we invite you to consider becoming a Benefactor by contributing to some of our exciting new initiatives. In 2025, our festival theme will be “R.S. Thomas: Music, Man…Machine”. Some of the initiatives we are seeking support for include:
Commissioning new pieces of music set to the words of one of R.S. Thomas's poems.
Supporting events exploring the relevance and historical context of R.S. Thomas.
Hiring musicians to accompany a Come & Sing Workshop and a concert of Mendelssohn's Elijah, to be performed as the opening event of the 2025 Festival with Brecon Singers and other choral singers from across Wales.
Helping us to host the best of young and upcoming choirs from across the UK by enabling them to attend the festival by offering discounted accommodation and covering travel costs.
Supporting singing workshops in schools.
