Brecon Choir Festival

Connection, creativity and unforgettable singing in the Welsh mountains.

The theme for our 2026 festival is George Herbert: In Every Corner Sing.

We will continue our journey exploring icons of the Welsh literary imagination through the Powys-born George Herbert, widely considered the greatest devotional poet in the English language.

We are delighted to announce our first headliners for our fifth anniversary festival taking place across 16-19 July. The Gesualdo Six, the award-winning British vocal ensemble, will perform the Grand Concert at Brecon Cathedral on Saturday 18th July.

Joining them on the bill are The Lyons Mouth, Continuum, Cappella Lacencis (Germany) and Côr Llundain.

Tickets go on sale in late January when more exceptional choirs and speakers will be announced.  Stay tuned!
