An important and long-standing tradition of Aberhonddu and District Male Choir has been to support the appreciation and development of choral music. Our close connection with the inaugural Brecon Choir Festival in 2022 was a further step in this direction and we welcome the introduction of the Young Singer Award as a feature of the festival in 2023. We are pleased to be associated with the competition as a sponsor and hope that it will become a regular feature of the music scene in Brecon. The choir wishes all the contestants an enjoyable competition and a successful lifetime of singing. In particular, we are looking forward to welcoming the winner to sing with us at one of our concerts.
